don't know ANYTHING about his politics, but the CEO of Arizona Iced Tea has kept then 23oz cans 99 cent through 2 recessions. I'll vote for him if he runs
Can you all imagine dealing with this crisis in the dead of winter? Thank goodness for the bright green grass, blooming flowers, and leaves budding on the trees. Super thankful for an early Spring this year.
Went trail running yesterday and covered just over 7 miles. I’m not sure if I was running to exercise or running to escape the hysteria propelled by social media. Also, a blue heron almost knocked me out on the river trail. So there’s that.
Attention all dairy-free friends:
If you haven’t tried the @CalifiaFarms almondmilk creamer, you’re missing out! It’s hands down, the best dairy-free creamer I’ve tried.
Thanks for filling the creamer void, Califia Farms! You’re the real MVP.
Tonight I had a candle burning on the island in the kitchen. Next thing I know, Hadley is standing on a stool singing her own version of Happy Birthday, blows out the candle and follows it up with an enthusiastic “yay!” coupled with clapping.
So there’s that.
My sister-in-law has been in labor since last night and I’m pretty sure this has been the longest 12 hours of my life as I wait for a picture of my nephew. One of my friends said waiting for your sibling’s baby to be born is next level, and she wasn’t wrong.
Received a Timehop reminder that nine years ago I played “If I Die Young” on repeat. I feel like it’s finally time to offer an apology to @a_ryan88.
Sorry man, thanks for tolerating me in the office and still choosing to be my friend.

In 2020, I would love to see less people arguing on social media for the sake of “religion” and make more of an effort to actually connect with people to show them love and kindness. There are too many keyboard warriors out there who are quick to condemn others for their beliefs.
Hadley just grabbed a fistful of my hair and yanked it repetitively. I said, “Hadley, let go, baby. That hurts momma.” — her response while giggling: “No, you let go!”
Guys, she’s one and a half and hilarious. How am I supposed to parent her when she has me rolling?!
You know you’ve reached a level desperation when you’re eating croutons for lunch. BUT, I’d rather flounder on croutons than go grocery shopping on a Saturday sandwiched between two major holidays.
Jeremy and I just survived our first Christmas Eve assembling poorly designed children’s toys late into the evening.
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
