@natdyerwild@OpenAcademics I started my PhD at 29, bought my first house just before I started, and had my little one a year and a quarter into the PhD. Having my little one is the best decision I have ever made. The flexibility the PhD offers is also fantastic.
Just preparing a lecture on the development of self-awareness and then pop in to say hello to my 23 month old and she is staring in a mirror shouting 'me!' 😂
@hethstar81 Where was this? I really want to take my little one to see a ballet. I think she will love it given her reaction to one of the songs from swan lake, she actually gasped when the music became more dramatic 😆
