NEVER blindly trust neg screenshots attributed to a group of ppl online. I’ve seen this tactic work effectively in alt-right fandom circles to the point where mainstream news accepted their misinformation as truth & pinned years of alt-right toxicity&harassment on innocent fans

It’s a wider issue imo of society’s inability to accept responsibility for the misinformation we consume. We blame social media networks for not “protecting us,” yet rarely do we question what we read when we are responsible for what we trust & believe.
