When looked at together, Wojnarowicz and Hujar’s bodies of work become a bit like a sentence describing their relationship and influence on one another. Wojnarowicz’s photographs of Hujar in the moments of his death are a powerful pause, but far from the end.
Artist David Wojnarowicz was born #onthisday in 1954. Pictured is a portrait of Wojnarowicz by Peter Hujar (@PeterHujar), an American photographer who he described as "my brother, my father, my emotional link to the world."
The depth of my love for this brother, can only be matched by the depth of my pain learning of his loss. A immensely talented man with the ability to give voice to the human condition portraying the lives of those whose humanity is seldom elevated until he sings their truth.

@KatieRubyRyan https://t.co/Fdf86Hu0qN Hi your grandad features and is interviewed in this BBC Arena documentary from 1991, split into 4 parts on YouTube. It was narrated and written by his close friend and my late father in law Anthony Cronin, also in the photo…
Check out some of the remarkable footage from the construction and transportation of David Hammons's Day's End.
In October 2019, crews transported steel beams from the shipyard to Day's End construction site along the Hudson River.

As it was the 10th anniversary of Nicolas Winding Refn's drive this Monday, I've been revisiting the soundtrack. Safe to say it is up there with the greatest 🙏
It’s only my favourite Irish band performing in my local Irish boozer... with a few @Seamusphoto portraits on the wall. Great performance as always from @fontainesdublin 👏
