This is a huge step for Fairmont State University! The Board of Governors voted yesterday to reduce the out of state tuition rate by almost $5,900 to $13,064. Combined with competitive scholarships many high achieving out of state students can attend Fairmont State for less than $10,000.

The board also voted to hold tuition steady for in-state and metro rate students. This makes Fairmont State an affordable option for anyone from around the country.

This is a truly great place and this makes a huge difference for current and future Falcons focused on a great education at an affordable rate.
