Can I just say how happy I am for everyone who finds this “meme” going around hockey twitter today hilarious... Happy that you can hide behind your burners because you’d never attach that to your person. Happy that you probably have never had to purchase pepper spray. Or have an alarm attached to your car keys. Happy that the first thing you do when you get in your car isn’t lock your doors and check your back seat. Happy that you don’t have bracelets with metal attachments to break windows in case you’re kidnapped. Or have a hair tie that covers your drink at a bar. Happy that the word no has probably always worked for you. And that if it didn’t, you didn’t have to lie about having a boyfriend because they respect that man more than your right to say no. Happy that you don’t have to look over your shoulder when walking at night. Happy that this as an unfathomable thing to be bothered by. So happy for all of you. Because I promise thinking that the issue is the “humorless snowflakes” and not you, is the bigger issue.
