A wonderful afternoon was had by our Pre-Prep pupils on Friday who celebrated the special German tradition of "Martinstag", where Year 3 performed the story in a special assembly, followed by a walk around the Paddock with their lanterns - a lovely way to end the week!!
Our Reception pupils celebrated their first day with a lovely surprise - a “Zuckertüte”. A gift traditionally given to children in Germany on their first day of school. It is a brightly coloured paper cone, filled with pencils, rubbers, sharpeners, and sweeties!🎉
This morning, children in Year 1 have been putting their German skills to the test as they order and serve food in their 5* pretend restaurant. How lovely! #LanguageLearning@goetheinstitut
@crozer_kellie ... and we managed to squeeze in a German lesson where we looked at a story about a polar bear’s birthday party. Super whizzy Wednesday! #mfl#GERMANLANGUAGE

Great fun tonight with the ‘German Quiz for the whole family’. Kaspar made a special appearance to congratulate the winners. @Kings_PrePrep @Kings_Rochester @GI_London1
The most valuable attribute to be gained from the study of a foreign language is the understanding and appreciation of different countries, cultures, people and communities. https://t.co/ey86Sw60Rv #DiscoverKings
