Yesterday, I posted out of raw emotion. I was in pain after the loss, and in that moment, I may have been reckless🙏🏾❤️✌🏾 Today, I’m calmer. My thoughts are clearer. And with a sober mind, and I genuinely believe that as Kaizer Chiefs, we urgently need a real coach. ■ Carling Knockout: 1st round elimination❌️ ■ Nedbank Cup: 1st round elimination❌️ ■ CAF Confederation Cup: Knocked out when we only needed a draw to go to the next round❌️ We fired a cup-winning coach after he lost just 1 match out of 6. ■ 6 Matches ■ 5 cleansheets✅️ ■ 4 wins✅️ ■ 1 loss✅️ ■ 1 draw✅️ A coach who returned us to continental football only to settle for these 2 mediocre tacticians without any clear game model and waste club resources. They won 1 match in 7 games after they took over, we ignored the signs. By keeping assistant coach Khalil and assistant coach-cum-interpreter Kaze as makeshift coaches beyond this weekend, what standards are we protecting as a club? What progress are we protecting? 1. What have they done to deserve repeated opportunities while the team continues to regress from every positive step it made last season? 2. What have they achieved in their coaching careers that qualify them to lead an institution of this size and history? They are only sitting there as puppets because they have no capacity to challenge the management. This is not about emotion anymore. It is about accountability. It is about ambition and love for this club. It is about restoring and respecting the identity of Kaizer Chiefs Football Club. We are coached by cowards. Right now, they are not even maintaining their own previous low standards. We are back to playing for fun, a season wasted with wannabe head coaches. AFCON gave them 6 weeks to prepare and get their tactics right, but they came back worse than they were after taking over from coach Nabi. Eliminated in 2 competitions in 1 week. We deserve better!
