Happy New year, guys :-)
I'm finishing my experiment tracking consistency on things I wanted to develop in 2024.
My December looked like this:
coding - 27
cooking - 4
jogging - 31
knitting - 4
reading - 0

I'm slowly planning my 2025, not in detail, but more in terms of picking things to focus on this year. The biggest need is to sort my sleep out.
Not sure what to do with X, I spend less and less time here. I need some outlet, but I also need community. LinkedIn? Threads? Bluesky?
Another thing I tried implementing was a proper day off on Saturdays, with various activities. Had to give this one up when I lost my previous job and spent all spring looking for another one and then was too busy and tired all the time. It was a good trial though.
This week I finally deployed my little app (had problems with adjusting backend for Render). Not sharing yet as it's not styled. Started experimenting with those.
October updates, again somewhat late.
coding - 19
cooking - 3
jogging - 27
knitting - 4
reading - 2
The beginning of the month was still a holiday for me, so somewhat lower numbers. Shouldn't be an excuse really.

β Had a lengthy pause in coding, hoping to restart again soon. Feeling a bit lost tbh about future plans and what I should be focusing on.
Finished reading "1984". It's symbolic I started reading it in England and finished in Russia. Feeling of recognition throughout.
I was away for a couple of weeks, took a much needed holiday. I wish I could take a month off in one go.
September stats:
coding - 14
cooking - 7
jogging - 29
knitting - 1
reading - 8

@niamh_codes The no-code tool would still require someone knowing automation. It's very visual and modular though, the best analogy I can think of is Scratch.
@niamh_codes My QA experience has been mostly manual.
I'd love to do more techy stuff, so yes, I enjoyed every minute of automation with Selenium.
I heard people say that Playwright is a lot better in many ways, so it's a useful skill to have in any case.
Apparently August finished 6 days ago π
As usual, some monthly stats:
coding - 25
cooking - 3
jogging - 31
knitting - 4
reading - 6
I'm tracking consistency rather then volume.
