Brighton spent about £146m on staff and player wages in 2023/24 with annual growth of around 10-15%

In 2025-26 this would be around £160m and with player allocation at around 75% you could say their current team total wages would be around £130m.

If Baleba was on 12.5k a week it would mean he earns 0.5% of the total team wages bill.

Ludicrous and there’s no way that figure is true.
