• 44th in 4th-grade reading proficiency.
• Among the highest state income tax rates.
• Among the highest corporate income tax rates.
• One of the highest health care costs per person.
• Bottom 10 for workforce growth.

It means you do not have to fit into a certain box to walk through our doors. 🤡You might be in long-term recovery, abstinent, or using medication for treatment. You do not have to be in treatment, “ready,” or even sure why you came. 🤡

Some people come here because they want to recover.

🤡 Some people come here because they want to stay safer. Some people come because they are lonely, curious, or just looking for a place where they can exist without being judged. 🤡[by their own definition, these are NOT recovery]

All of those reasons are valid.

All of those people are welcome.

[THEN IT IS NOT A RECOVERY CENTER]

The Access Center was built by and is led by people with lived and 🤡living experience🤡 in recovery and harm reduction. Many of us know what it feels like to need support, community, and second chances. We also know that real change rarely happens alone.

Inside these walls you will find coffee, conversation, resources, 🤡harm reduction services, 🤡recovery coaching🤡, volunteer opportunities, recovery meetings, youth groups, community clean up events, clothing, storage, 🤡canvassing, naloxone, a robust volunteer program, and a 🤡whole lot of people who care about each other🤡.

Some days you might come here for help. Other days you might find yourself helping someone else.

🤡That is how the community works. 🤡
