Many of you probably noticed how in the first two seasons of Euphoria, Labrinth’s music had these short recurring themes attached to certain characters. For example, Nate had his own recognizable sound motif that would play during specific moments.
Labrinth’s music was an extremely important part of the show’s identity, especially in season 1. It matched the aesthetic, emotions, storyline, and dreamy atmosphere perfectly. The soundtrack almost felt like another character within the show itself.
Now that we’re deep into season 3, I can understand why the music direction changed because the entire vibe of the show feels completely different now. Labrinth is incredibly talented and versatile enough to adapt his sound, so I don’t think the issue was him being unable to evolve musically for the new season.
I honestly think behind the scenes there were probably disagreements about bringing in additional people to shape or accompany the music direction, while Labrinth likely wanted to keep the soundtrack more personal and solo-driven like it was during the first two seasons.
I really hope he somehow returns to work within the Euphoria universe again because the tone of the show could always shift back closer to the atmosphere of the first two seasons, and his music was a massive reason why that era felt so special.
someone told me they were using chatgpt to help write a script and i said “that’s bullshit learn to write!!!” to their face. people should be embarrassed!!!!!! grow up!!!!
Michael Phelps is literally referred to as a freak of nature because of his disproportionate wingspan, double jointed ankles, lung capacity twice that of an average human, body that produces half the lactic acid of a typical athlete, and he is rightly celebrated for being the greatest male swimmer in history. Meanwhile, female athletes with genetic differences are legally discriminated against and harassed to no end. This is not about “protecting women in sports” - this is about protecting a very specific idea of what a woman is.
This is completely false and I can't believe so many people with high profiles are peddling this myth
The victorious boxer Imane Khelif is a woman. She was born a woman and is not transgender. She's from Algeria where it's illegal to transition
This is bigotry, plain and simple
I'm a game dev. I didn't know how to code so I learned. I didn't know how to write music so I learned. When I didn't know how to animate, I learned. If someone thinks they need to resort to using generative ai to bring a vision to life it didn't deserve to live
