If you remove each team’s toughest opponent:
• Tulane w/o Ole Miss → 48.9%
• JMU w/o Louisville → 51.3%
Notre Dame still played a significantly tougher schedule.
Notre Dame yelling ab Bama getting in over them - but that’s the wrong argument.
The real question is why Tulane & James Madison got in over them.
