Bullet In The Head is such a wild ride ! Definitely one of John Woo's best ! It feels like 3 different great films at once and somehow it works ?
Beautiful, beautiful illustration

I personally think it is one of John Woo's best films!

Quick reminder : Everything here isn't ranked in order.
There were a lot of other great films I've seen but that just didn't stay with me in the end but I had such a good year !
And obviously it is just my opinion !

Animation WIP. It should be a part of a short film that I will maybe complete one day (probably never 😁). Anyway, so cool to experiment with shot design, animation, VFX and editing!

Strange Days (1995). Kathryn Bigelow's cyberpunk classic with a script by James Cameron.
Ralph Fiennes plays sleazy ex-cop Lenny Nero who trades in recorded memories and experiences. Private eye Max Peltier (Tom Sizemore) and bodyguard Mace Mason (Angela Bassett) help him when he's embroiled in murder, corruption and cover up, all recorded via memory devices.
The film did poorly on release and was criticised by some for its violence and voyeurism. It's high octane and its POV violence is unsettling, but after 30 years it's generally seen as a gripping and sometimes prescient tech-noir.
I know it's been a while since the anniversary for this game's release but I can't believe it's 10 years old now. I still remember the day it came out, I had high expectations and it lived up to them. Amazing game.
