Iโve been climbing to the top of this mountain a lot to help manage stress. The morning stillness before the city wakes up feels otherworldly, and the sunsets feel so peaceful.
@CEOofMeMeS2 It takes a lot of patience and consistent practice to become proficient at the instrument. Practicing 30 to 60 minutes per day, atleast 5 days a week for a few years is enough to see great advancements with the instrument, especially if you have a good teacher. ๐
@CEOofMeMeS2 I started when I was a kid and was self-taught with a few books...my progress was very slow, and I developed many bad habits that I had to unlearn later with a teacher...if I had a teacher from the beginning, I probably would have had good progress, but violin also takes time...
This was a sunrise picture I captured during a video shoot I did yesterday! I have a few more scenes to film, but then I think I'll have another music video ready to go soon! Self-isolation has pushed me to experiment a bit, so hopefully it will all work out. We shall see! ๐
@nick__puckett Awww geebz... Come on Colorado!? :o No meal is to die for..... They could have supported the restaurant by wearing a mask to get takeout, and eating the food in a park... We have plenty of parks.
@rsterbal I have heard of the traditional tune archive, but I usually just play the versions of the tunes that are played locally + come up with some of my own variations to change stuff up a little bit. ๐
@dcm3813 Yikes!! I didn't realize that could happen... :S I chipped a molar and was kind of thinking I could let it go for a bit, but now I know that I definitely need to get it fixed asap... :o
@dcm3813 I have some spirulina powder that I sometimes blend into smoothies! I didn't know it could come in pill-form. :o I'll have to look for that! And a 2-hour commute sounds absolutely terrible! :( it's hard to find the time and motivation to workout, even without much of a commute...
I've been trying to go to the gym every day to lift weights, and wow, do my arms feel sore... I also can't lift very much -- I'm only able to lift around 30 lbs repetitively... Hopefully that will change! :)
@Colorado_Bee Yeah, I've even seen it snow on the 4th of July... The only month I've never seen it snow at the lower elevations is August. :o But I haven't ever seen a large snowstorm like this in late May. I looks like it's snowed at least half a foot! Colorado has some strange weather!
Not to complain about the weather more, but what a storm! Is it seriously mid May? It looks like January outside. Some of the trees are starting to fall over from all of the snow, which is really sad. ๐ I really want Spring to come (and stay)! #snowstorm#spring#snow#colorado
