BREAKING: Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum hits back hard at Donald Trump with a dire warning after he announces his disastrous tariffs — and breaks down exactly how idiotic his idea is.

This is what a real leader sounds like...

"Seventy percent of the illegal weapons seized from criminals in Mexico come from your country. We do not produce these weapons, nor do we consume synthetic drugs," she wrote in a letter to Trump which she read at a press conference.

"Tragically, it is in our country that lives are lost to the violence resulting from meeting the drug demand in yours," she added.

"One tariff will follow another and so on, until we put our common businesses at risk," she correctly predicted. Trump's suggestion that he will implement a 25% tariff on Mexico and Canada is utterly moronic and will only succeed at skyrocketing prices.

"I am convinced that North America’s economic strength lies in maintaining our trade partnership. This allows us to remain competitive against other economic blocs," she continued.

"For this reason, I believe that dialogue is the best path to understanding, peace, and prosperity for our nations. I hope our teams can meet soon to continue building joint solutions," Sheinbaum added.

As a nation, we collectively failed her—and in doing so we failed girls and women, the LGBTQ community, people of color, Muslims, Jewish people, immigrants, the sick, the poor, the elderly, the people of Ukraine, and Gaza, and the planet.

It's unthinkable, that instead of being able to celebrate a beautiful, hopeful new chapter in the story of this nation with a leader who appealed to the best of our natures—we will instead be holding a postmortem for democracy as we enter our 250th year, stewarded by a malevolent sociopath who despises empathy and shuns the law.

I truly thought we were better than this, that our shared humanity would show up. I thought we would reject this hatred and ugliness once and for all.

I hate being wrong about the majority of the people of this nation.

I don't know what's ahead. All I know is that good-hearted human beings are more necessary now than ever.

We did all that we could to avoid this moment, but now that it's here we'll just have to decide who we will be.

There is no way to comprehend or measure how grievous an error this is, but the only thing the decent people of this nation can do is wake up tomorrow and fight like hell for what we still believe is worth the fight, and we will.

I'll be doing that with whoever has the strength to join me.

I'm mourning the country we could have been and the one we apparently are—but I refuse to give up believing that compassion is the right path, that diversity makes us better, and that love is greater than fear.

These new allegations by Bob Woodward about Trump sending COVID-19 testing equipment to Putin and holding secret calls have certainly struck a nerve in Trump's camp. The strong pushback from Trump's spokesman shows they are scrambling to control the narrative, but Woodward's credibility as a reporter makes these claims hard to ignore. An investigation may be warranted if these reports suggest potential national security risks. The public deserves transparency and accountability from all leaders.

JD Vance admits to creating stories to get the public talking when asked if he made up the lie about Haitian’s eating pets he claims they came from “first hand accounts” and he’ll continue to make up stories if he has to.

I also want to remind people that “first hand accounts” is not necessarily considered evidence. I can go on YouTube right now and find firsthand accounts of people who were abducted by aliens thousands of videos from 2005 to 2024. this is also why in court you can’t just go by based off what somebody said you have to also find other evidence to prove the person was there that the event happened in the way that the person said it happened. This is why we look for dna, camera footage, etc.

People lie. People see things and create their own stories (I can see two crashed cars and assume somebody was drunk and I be completely wrong) but most importantly PEOPLE LIE!!!
