@celluloidnblood@noachlive If you're a comic book fan and have been reading them since childhood, you'll certainly enjoy reading any kind of comic. But most people have never read comics and, for the most part, would never even want to start. So, people are trying to find an entry point for them.

@celluloidnblood@noachlive People who just starting to read comics don't want to read anything old—anything from before the 2000s, or even the 2010s. Because they are too wordy, too much filler and retconned material, and it feels too childish.
They are read only by people capable of appreciating them
