Don’t bet against Meta AI.
The next big AI adoption point will be from a massive distribution (e.g., Meta or Apple) dropping a GPT-4 level model for free directly into their products.
In this interview, Zuck revealed new details on Llama 3:
"We're rolling out this new version [of Meta AI] that, with the Llama 3 upgrade, we believe is now the most intelligent AI that everyone is going to be able to freely use”
I think this is bigger than people realize.
We're in such an AI bubble on X that it's easy to forget that the average person hasn't even used ChatGPT yet.
Or if they have, they've used GPT 3.5 once to try it and never again.
If this interview is accurate and Meta executes properly, they can put a GPT-4 level model directly into over 3B+ users' hands.
That means to billions of people, it's going to seem better than ChatGPT because they've only ever tried GPT 3.5.
The AI race is wide open. We're still so early.
The approach we take to building the Facebook app is based on three key elements: trust, unification and people. In episode 42, @passy explores with Maria when people and metrics can be in conflict and what to do about it. https://t.co/SUbqKxBQyD
Let's #breakthebias! Gender bias is a barrier halting society’s progress towards equality. Join us in calling out gender bias, stereotypes and discrimination. Thank you to Board Members @KavalMaria and Nicole Grogan for participating in this conversation #InternationalWomensDay
@StanfordHP I found the question ‘out of town’ unclear. Do you literally mean outside of your city limits? Colloquially if someone says they are going ‘out of town’ it usually refers to something further away
So lucky to have Menlo-Atherton junior Stella Kaval be an advocate for the disability community. Her Girl Scout Gold Award project will focus on educating youth about people with disabilities.
