Saw Supergirl and I'm trying to understand why they turned a beautiful standalone exploration of grief and morality into the DC equivalent of a phase 4 MCU movie.
for some reason, supergirl is being held to a higher standard than most movies. it's not going to be remembered among the greatest comic book movies, but it's a solid and enjoyable film, and milly alcock and eve ridley both give captivating performances. https://t.co/MQfuYoqqbI
THANKKKK YOUUUUY LOBO WAS SOOOOO UNNECESSARY!!!!!!! would have completely bettered the movie imo if they cut him out and included more of Ruthye or Kara in some way or expanded on Krem more
just saw Supergirl!!! I really loved it and ended up crying during the movie. My only critique is Jason Momoa’s character was completely unneeded for the plot and it really just felt like he was thrown in so that there was male character that wasn’t a villian and wasn’t Superman

This doesn’t make any sense. I’ve seen the movie twice. I’ve spoken to people who’ve seen it. The general reaction doesn’t warrant this. Who the hell did they poll??
