@WelBeast@themichaelowen Owen doesn’t have the stones to ask that….and if he did, he would lose his easy money gig on Sky. Sky aren’t interested in the truth, the rules or good of the game.
@gunnerpunner There is ppl convinced that Oliver is one of the best refs in the world and yet each time he referees an Arsenal game, it’s like it’s his first time watching football….
@kimmoFC Outrageous…. I wonder if VAR is empowered to call that back had they gone on a scored. I bet it’s either ambiguous or some sort of loophole there that they would have twisted to suit the narrative. Hard to believe the best ref in the world can’t spot a foul throw….
All it took was £451.3m spent this summer, three unbelievably fortunate refereeing decisions, and a foundation built off two decades of financial doping. Bravo 👏
21 goals this season. None from set pieces.
Suddenly the media aren’t publishing league tables excluding set pieces and complaining about them ruining the game.
It’s almost as if they didn’t actually care about set pieces, and their real issue was us.
The league can’t go on like this. We can’t keep watching referees decide games in City’s favour. There’s no credibility. Nobody can trust what they’re watching.
Man City can appeal I get that. The frustration tonight is with the Premier League and media who want us to carry on like everything is normal for the next however many months. YOU told us they were guilty. Stop pretending we can carry on as normal
For the Premier League as an organisation, that was pretty much the worst possible outcome
The team found guilty of mass cheating winning after a highly controversial decision went in their favour, not for the first time this season
Integrity of the league hanging by a thread
There is 1 ref based in Merseyside. He's never officiated Liverpool or Everton as he is not allowed.
There are 3 Manc refs. Taylor, Kavanagh & Tierney. They've refereed Utd or City 209 times.
After the Prem look into City they need to look into the PGMOL.
In the last month, City have had an offside goal given against United, an Elliot Anderson handball not given against Sunderland, Gravenberch sent off for two soft yellows against Liverpool, and they’ve been found guilty of industrial scale cheating. The Premier League is a farce.
