I really enjoy the Asante Twi language. I used to teach Bible study in Twi. I still try to read my Bible in Twi sometimes, but it’s a kinda interesting identity crisis for me.
Mum is Krobo. Dad is Ewe. I don’t speak either of their languages. I can’t also say I am Asantenii. 🤭
Dear @dvlaghofficial & @ghpoliceservice this happened right infront of me at Baa Yard junction. For security reasons I couldn’t apprehend him but please this person shouldn’t go Scot free. Urinating on a highway 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Howard’s reach has always extended far beyond The Yard.
His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene of the Ashanti Kingdom, brought that global connection into focus during a historic visit to Howard University,
delivering his first Royal Guest Lecture on campus to an audience of students, faculty, staff and invited guests.
Speaking at Cramton Auditorium, the Asantehene reflected on the unity of African people across the globe, the preservation of cultural heritage and the enduring strength of the African diaspora.
His visit continues a legacy that stretches back to Howard’s earliest years: welcoming leaders, scholars and students from around the world while serving as a vital bridge between Africa, the diaspora and the global community.

Asante culture takes centre stage on the international scene as the Symphony of Soul Band of Bowie State University delivers a captivating performance of Ghanaian music blended with foreign dance at the 2026 Akwasidae celebration in the USA, which was graced by several distinguished Ghanaians living abroad.
