Today I am in Washington DC for the celebration tonight at the US Capitol televised on PBS and tomorrow on CBS for America 250. I have the privilege of narrating content for both events.
At the moment, I am sitting in my hotel room looking out the window watching our amazing fighter pilots rehearsing their flyover for tomorrow’s 4th of July celebration. I have been on military bases all over the world and seen these jets many times before but experiencing them practicing in the skies over our nation's capital in preparation for our 250th birthday is something quite unique, and special.
We live in a great country. It’s been wonderful to see how folks from around the world who have traveled here for the World Cup are enjoying so many of the things that we are so used to here. We have so much to be thankful for, not the least of which are the men and women who defend our country and protect our cities. Those whose service and sacrifice must not be taken for granted. Where would we all be if no one wanted to serve?
Over the course of our 250-year history, many sacrifices have been made. Thousands and thousands of our fellow Americans are buried in 26 military cemeteries in foreign lands with many more here at home. Each day at the Gary Sinise Foundation we work diligently to serve and honor these sacrifices by supporting those on active duty, those who have served, and the families that serve with them and have sacrificed alongside them.
I have met many over the years and they inspire me each day with their triumphant spirits. America is an evolving idea created by those who chose to fight for independence and freedom against a tyranny. We have inherited that idea, and while there certainly have been many extremely challenging moments in our history, there have been many triumphant ones to celebrate.
In this new video of a song called Triumphant, written by my son Mac Sinise and his pal Oliver Schnee, we include a few triumphant shining moments in celebration of America’s 250th Birthday.
Please enjoy: https://t.co/8p24ILOaSu
As we get ready to celebrate the 4th of July, we want everyone to have a fun—and safe—holiday.
Know the law before you light!
Beginning July 2, 2026, a change to the City of Puyallup's fireworks ordinance aligns with updated state law and changes the legal discharge time on the Fourth of July. Legal consumer fireworks may now be discharged only between 12:00 p.m. (noon) and 11:00 p.m. on July 4.
Before celebrating, please remember: 🎇 Only use legal consumer fireworks. 🏡 Fireworks may only be discharged on private property with the property owner's permission. 🌳 Fireworks are not allowed in parks, on public streets, sidewalks, or other City property. 👧 Anyone under 16 must be directly supervised by a responsible adult when possessing or using fireworks. 🧯 Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby and fully soak used fireworks before throwing them away. 🐾 Be considerate of your neighbors, veterans, pets, and those who may be sensitive to loud noises.
Every year, fireworks lead to preventable injuries, fires, and property damage. A few extra precautions can help ensure everyone enjoys a safe holiday.
If you choose to celebrate with fireworks, celebrate responsibly and follow the law.
Have fun and stay safe!

Fifteen years ago today, the @GarySiniseFound officially opened for business. One donor, a few staff members, a small two room office on the set of CSI NY, a website with a new logo and a few initial programs, and a lot of running around the country to build support. The goal and mission was simple: to serve the men and women who serve our country and the families who stand beside them.
It was my hope that our fellow citizens would come together in support of this objective and I can’t thank all of you enough. Because of your generosity, we've been able to build specially adapted smart homes, support our wounded heroes, strengthen first responder communities, serve families of the fallen, and remind so many Americans that they are never alone.
Every life we've touched has been made possible because of people like you. I'm deeply grateful to everyone who has believed in this mission, volunteered their time, shared our story, or made a gift to help us serve others.
As we celebrate our 15th anniversary, I'm filled with gratitude for all we've accomplished together and hopeful for all that's still ahead. The need remains, and so does our commitment to those who sacrifice so much for our country.
Today, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of the McBunch and Jansky families, every gift will be matched up to $650K, doubling your impact.
Thank you for standing with me over the last 15 years. I hope you'll join me as we continue this mission of service for many years to come.

🚨 BREAKING: President Trump and JD Vance are in the Oval Office together signing an executive launching a WHOLE OF GOVERNMENT approach to root out FRAUD in federally funded programs
"You been seeing it and seeing it pretty big in Minnesota. $19 BILLION!
During some of the hardest times our family has faced in recent years our faith has truly helped to carry us through. And I've seen what prayer can do in my own life and in the lives of the men and women I've had the privilege to know who serve and sacrifice for our country. That's why I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of @hallowapp American Heroes Challenge, which launched Sunday. Over the next 13 days leading up to the celebration of 250 years of American freedom, we'll reflect on the lives of some extraordinary heroes. Not just the famous names, but the everyday men and women whose faith left a profound mark on this nation. People who understood that freedom isn't free, and that it has to be fought for, protected, and passed on.
I love my country. I am grateful to be an American. And I know I don't take it for granted. I'd love for you to join me. Download Hallow for free at https://t.co/oeNDV7XRZK and let's celebrate this great nation with prayer, remembering who we are called to be. God bless. 🙏

Fifteen years ago, I founded the @GarySiniseFound with a simple mission: to serve and honor our nation's defenders, veterans, first responders, and their families.
And the incredible impact we've made together over the last decade and a half has been remarkable. From specially adapted smart homes and support for families of fallen heroes to programs serving our wounded heroes and first responders, our ever expanding reach, touching more and more lives in such a positive way would not have been possible without the generosity of the American people.
As we celebrate this milestone, I'm deeply grateful to everyone who has joined us on this journey. And thanks to the extraordinary generosity of the McBunch family, every gift made during our 15th Anniversary celebration will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $250,000.
Thank you for helping us serve those who sacrifice so much for our country. Here's to the next 15 years. Donate today at https://t.co/u7xo8O8mJd
We now have documentation that COVID was fabricated in the Wuhan bioweapons lab under the funding and direction of Anthony Fauci. High ranking Democrats up to and including Joseph Biden engaged in a criminal coverup that killed and crippled millions. Where are the tribunals?
She joined her friends on the lake to see the northern lights. An illegal alien, released by Chicago Democrats, not once, but twice, shot her in the back.
She bled to death on the concrete.
Democrats are a cancer.
It's hot. Put a dish of water outside today with a few stones in it.
During a heat wave, birds and bees need water as much as food. Honey bees drink it, haul it back to the hive, and use it to help cool the brood.
But bees need a safe place to land. A deep bowl of water can become a trap.
The fix is simple. Fill a shallow dish with pebbles or stones and add water until the tops stay dry. The bees get islands to stand on, and birds get a shallow edge to drink and bathe.
Set it in the shade and dump and refill it every day. Fresh water in the heat, no mosquito problem.
Two minutes, a dish, and a handful of rocks can make the hottest days a little easier for everything sharing your yard.
The Left wants the White House to feel like an untouchable institution reserved for political elites. They hate seeing it used for events that remind Americans it belongs to them.
Turning the White House into a place of celebration, culture, and public engagement, especially as we approach America’s 250th, strips away the myth that government is something distant and above the American people.
No surprise the Democrats despised last night’s UFC event, but what truly frustrates them is what it represents: a White House that feels like the people’s house again.
It’s the LAST DAY of Meeker Days!
The fun is still going strong, and even our own City Manager Kirkelie, Main Street Association Executive Director Door, and Officer Parrish couldn’t resist sliding into the festivities! 😄🛝
If you haven’t made it down yet, there’s still time to enjoy the entertainment, food, vendors, and community fun that make Meeker Days such a great tradition.
While you’re there, be sure to stop by the Puyallup Police Department booth and say hello to our team! We’d love to meet you, answer questions, and connect with our community.
We hope to see you out there enjoying the final day of Meeker Days! 😎

Flag Day ~ Don't ever disrespect our flag 🇺🇸
-It represents the men who froze at Valley Forge
-The soldiers who stormed Normandy
-The Marines who raised it at Iwo Jima
- The buried under white crosses
Drop a flag 🇺🇸 in the comments... If you're proud to be an American today
It's come out that Barack Obama ordered the RAID on Mar-A-Lago.
When he wasn't President.
Biden was.
What gave Obama the right.
I think it's time for the second ex-POTUS to face court challenges.
It's BEYOND time for Obama to get his.
San Francisco Giants player Landen Roupp just gained a fan for life…
He flipped the script on his "pride" hat, writing Genesis 9:12-16 next to the logo—The verses that say the rainbow is a symbol of God's covenant never to flood the earth again.
You know what I’ve been thinking about? There are far more racist people in this country than I ever realized.
I have been blown away watching people celebrate the death of a White teenage boy simply because the person who killed him was Black.
This teenager was not on drugs. He was not a troublemaker.
He had never committed a crime.
He played sports, made good grades, respected his parents, and was loved by so many people.
Yet some people have found joy in his death because they care more about race than right and wrong.
That is not justice. That is racism, hatred, and pure evil.
A teenage boy lost his life. Anyone celebrating that should be ashamed.
The Left love to live in a world where they can never be held accountable for their actions.
You CAN have knives at public protests. You CAN’T have them at school events.
Even in spaces where you ARE allowed to carry a knife, you ARE NOT allowed to use it to commit murder.
Thank you to all who fought and sacrificed in freedoms defense all those years ago. Incredible footage here. Blessed that both my uncles survived and will never forget the over 400,000 who did not come home.
Are we really supposed to believe there's nothing Washington state leaders can do about coordinated, multi-year harassment of @letsgowa signature gatherers? Democrats just get away with brazen election interference? While conservative ballot observers are charged with felonies?
