Dog parks should not be an issue to install. Cats get to roam the city for free, with no Licence or any fees. May as well give the dogs, who’s owners pay $$$ to keep them yearly, somewhere to go

@ShayneKawalilak In 2016 when we both ran for Council, downtown was the same issue. 6 years later, it’s the same. Downtown isn’t anymore of a tourist destination than anywhere else off the trail. All businesses pay taxes, and want to succeed. Support all equally

I understand the need to to support the Perron District, but shouldn’t the same support be given to support those tucked away & off the main path businesses in Grandin, Forest Lawn and the like?
Support all local, not just one area

@Libarbarian @keithgerein @edmontonjournal I don’t think it’s a coincidence that society made it this long without having dedicated bike lanes, that cost millions.
Not against them, but the cost of them can and should be a hot topic. When we do have the luxury of paved sidewalks and roads.

@keithgerein @edmontonjournal Yup. It’s interesting in comparison to the bike lanes. Help a small minority of society, who are physically & time able to use those, compared to transit where it helps in the cold, early/late in the day, physically unable, etc. 🤷‍♂️

But when something like that headline hits the stands, with another municipality already out, I can see why some in Edmonton are trying to get less egg on their face.

@baconandyegs With all the traveling we’ve done this year, and all the events we have been to/things going on, I think we will be ok. Many are taking the proper precautions to help themselves daily, whatever that means to them and their loved ones

Both of these can be true;
- masks were likely needed the last couple years
&
- masks likely weakened our immune system, so now we can’t fight things off

@rwesthead @TSN_Sports 😂 we had an office admin that thought that too, so they did whatever they wanted. Turns out once fired, the kids still kept playing, and the on ice product went on as normal. With the behind the scenes stuff getting much better 🤷‍♂️
