@Delta yesterday I found out my nonstop flight was canceled from Chicago to Atlanta from the curbside bag checkin employee. Nothing from Delta letting me know my flight was rescheduled to a 7am flight the following morning with a 5 hour layover in Detroit! Unacceptable!
