Some older prints of Sayf'ul Mulūk mention Miyāñ Sahib's demonym as Jehlami, the reason being is that Khari Sharif fell under the Jehlam district.

@AbuRayhanaKurdi @tahirmunir1999 Look at the principle behind it, not the means of delivery. The sahaba fixed a time for a reminder that was not fixed by Allah or His Messenger. They did not see it as bidah, your shaykh sees it as bidah to set a time or day.

@Shukri_ibm Its a weak Salafi fiqh take on things. If you ask anybody doing a reminder that is it from the religion to do a reminder at that specific day or time, they would say no, so how can it be bidah? Also by that logic fixed time weekly lectures other than the Friday khutbah are bidah.

Important things to note:

• Contrarty to JAAC’s claims that the 12 refugee seats were “supposed to be removed” by now—the Oct 2025 Agreement states that the AJK Govt, Pak Govt, & a committee comprising JAAC members would deliberate on this issue & find an acceptable solution. JAAC changed its stance in May 2026, demanding all 12 seats be removed at once.

• Every demand that fell under the *exclusive* jurisdiction of the AJK Govt was implemented or is in progress. Certain demands—such as new tunnels/roads/airports are things that require feasibility studies…and time lol.

• Others, which require additional funds from the Pak Govt, were to see progress after 2026-2027 budget finalization. Spending has been allocated to those demands in the recent budget.

In conclusion, while many of JAAC’s demands are “reasonable”—the ever-growing list (currently 76 demands as per JAAC’s website), the short time frame, the constant threats of “shutting things down” , the violence, & the sudden switch up on refugee seats—all demonstrate that JAAC is not only uninterested in peace, but perhaps even in most of its demands.

The demands are a cover for their need to forment chaos, & a vehicle through which they gain ideological legitimacy. If not now, eventually ppl capable of critical thinking will realize this.
