I think every woman hits that season where she’s not angry anymore, just aware. You see people clearly. You move differently. You don’t explain.. you just shift. That’s maturity mixed with grace.
leaving poor friendships in 2025. i feel like i have genuinely given grace, communicated and also set standards. you have to be honest with yourself about what you deserve in friendships and navigate removing those who do not align with it.
I think the best thing I've learned as an adult is to IGNORE ppl. When you realize people do weird & evil things to get a reaction out of you, you learn that silence is more powerful than proving a point.
When you take yourself out of environments that subtly communicated to you that safety required you to shrink yourself you blossom in new ways. Plant yourself in new soil.
maturing is realizing that, sometimes, as an adult, you have to decide “this is the last time these people are going to make me feel this way,” and stand by it. whether it’s family, a relationship, or a friendship.
