Some people are serious and can't take a joke.
Other people make everything a joke and can't be serious.
"Equilibrium" is about finding the balance of both.
The thing I appreciate Twitter/X for (why has this re-branding failed so badly...? META worked. Is it because Facebook never had the nostalgic effect of this platform??! [<--genuine question]) is making and losing "friends", only to reconnect and grow closer to, later (with hope)
@hookskat High probability is that my brain exists in ways that concepts of "mind" can't.
Because brains can be observed and scientifically justified. Minds can not, in the same way.
I appreciate you testing me, and I don't claim infallibility. Especially about this concept... ๐ซก
@hookskat No, it isn't. Any sense, under ANY metric is always going to be subjective, which is why I question objectivity as being anything but subjective perception and a theoretical impossibility.
I much rather judge according to PROBABILITIES, not certainty or other egotistic wankery.
@genuslogicae@Evie_Magazine Us men, myself included, can be devious in this way. Some prefer the quick reward, while other can play the long game.
Others can be perverted by the enticement, rendering established psychology invalid.
No one can really "know" anyone... "We are our own worst enemies"
@TheUfoJoe Nice detail of having two or three ICE officers tripping over nothing at the beginning of the video.
Funny detail that the giant bird is pointed away from the ICE officers and directed at anyone watching this fake video...
Is this the best gaslighting democrats can muster???
@Maximumatheist Such a powerful motivator, fear is.
Fear of death.
Fear of the unknown.
Fear of the fantasy of "eternal torture and damnation".
Just remember: "GOD LOVES US ALL".... (1+1=JEEBUS...)
๐๐๐๐๐
@Askwhyisit Actually, it did. It was born from a thought, essentially "nothing" since it only exists, even conceptually, from subjective imagination...
@genuslogicae@Evie_Magazine I would hope so, but after 48 years, I've yet to be rewarded for being, at core, a "nice guy", as declared by women who strung me along... and chased after the "bad boy" instead...
Women calling men "nice guys" is a death warrant for an intimate relationship.
