@david_gower83 I totally get that too. Just supporting my fellow primary teachers. My Hope would be that the drawing is a small part of a bigger piece of work like a descriptive piece of writing and the drawing acts as a plan
@david_gower83 As a year 3/4 teacher I would set this task for a couple of reasons. 1. To check comprehension - do my students visualise the Iron Man as he is described. 2. Exploring creativity - do the student simply draw it or make it? What materials do they use? How do they bring him to life
@melulater This bear is one of the ways I became a teacher. A year travelling the Waikato teaching road safety lead to my degree and my career. Will forever have the song stuck in my head and feel guilty if I don’t use a pedestrian crossing.
@kerriatlearning Yes! I think it comes from understanding the vision for the school, knowing how you contribute to that vision and knowing that contribution is valued.
