I am so grateful for the last 11 years as a broadcast journalist. But now, it’s time for a new chapter. This wasn’t an easy decision, it took me months before I finally made a move to leave, but it was necessary.
Art Coleman Jr., a Chavez high school jazz teacher, has had a positive impact on so many students. Many of them wrote to the school district in 2019, to have a building named after Art.
In mid-June, the “Arthur Coleman Jr.” administration building will officially open.
