@oldandrewuk 2/2 behaviour, set firm boundaries, show compassion and use your brains as to what is going on. Behaviour policies aren’t always the right way, good to have in place and can be a deterrent. But students are individuals and sometimes have issues which need empathy not punishment
@oldandrewuk One policy doesn’t work as all students are individuals and have different needs and different ways of coping with life. For example sticking them in a detention isn’t necessarily a punishment for all students. Some students just need a conversation. I never tolerated poor 1/2
@PennyMordaunt Untrustworthy, callous, liars, arrogant, break your own rules, look after your own…. As a result of your leadership we already have higher taxes, NHS, social care, mental health in crisis. You have systematically destroyed education with teachers leaving in droves so no thanks
@JonathanPieNews Rishi kept banging on about Labour adding another £2000 of tax to everyone, did Keir ever address this? In the Labour manifesto it says that they will not raise taxes so unsure why Keir didn’t dispute this? I didn’t see the whole debate though, I thought Etchington lost control
@ICT_MrP Teaching students how to cope with life. We used to take some students on the bus to town to go shopping to teach them life skills and build confidence and independence. How to furnish a flat on a budget using old Argos catalogues etc
