TRUMP'S RECENT ANNOUNCEMENT IS A VINDICATION FOR WAKEFIELD

For 30 years, Andrew Wakefield was vilified for calling for the same actions our President just called for regarding vaccines and autism, among them:

1) Split MMR
2) Remove mercury & aluminum
3) Study childhood vaccines + autism

In 1998, Wakefield’s career was destroyed. He became the longest-running news story in history for questioning this science and demanding more. Decades later, it is becoming U.S. policy.

As Dr. Wakefield says, "It's pro-safety, pro-transparency, pro-child, and pro-informed consent."

And, as the saying goes, 'Wakefield was right.'

I never paid much attention to Charlie Kirk, he seemed very America focused & I am not American, & I find the "OWNED! DESTROYED!" type video titles really off-putting. I'd completely missed that he interviewed Kara Dansky & Richie Herron, a radical feminist & a gay man I admire.

Now, since his murder, I see lots of people saying he was racist, homophobic, a misogynist, & a fascist...but these seem to be people who never knew him personally, sometimes sharing tiny clips with no context.

When I look around I see:

Black people saying he treated them well, is this what a racist does?

Same sex attracted people saying he treated them well, is this what a homophobe does?

Women, with various political beliefs, saying he treated them well, is this what a misogynist does?

Am I supposed to believe that all of this was acting? A ruse? A clever masterplan, hiding his true evil bigoted face, & all these people have fallen for it?

Because that seems not only far-fetched & paranoid but rather condescending, infantilising, an act of removing agency from people of the marginalised groups you fetishise because they do not agree with you...one might say racist, homophobic, & misogynistic.

The other thing I see are videos of Charlie Kirk himself, again & again saying we have to talk to each other, respectfully, despite our differences, otherwise we foster a culture which will lead to violence...is this what a fascist does?

Because I do not think so, I think the fascists are the ones who kill their political opponents to stop them having a voice.

I have literally never seen a more eloquent, calm, and decisive presentation on live TV.

Douglas Murray just fit 100 books and 300 podcast episodes into this 3-minute soliloquy.

He completely shut down Pierce Morgan’s argument, clarifying that Hamas, not Netanyahu, is the true obstacle for peace.

He criticized Hamas for using foreign aid to build tunnels and enrich its leaders, rather than improving Gaza.

But most importantly, he explained that peace with Hamas is fundamentally impossible, as they value conflict and death, not peace and life; thus, unless Israel is allowed to decisively win, the cycle of violence will continue ad infinitum.

There's no sugar coating what millions of families have faced for decades, and what young families are learning in a harsh wake up call. Autism is a SPECTRUM. Asperger's is not the same as autism. It deserves the same respect, care, understanding and ACTION that match the challenges of the diagnosis.  Personality traits are not autism. Lack of social skills is not autism. Having no friends is not autism. Anxiety is not autism. Stage fright is not autism. Being chosen last for dodge ball is not autism. THIS - what you see below, is autism. When Secretary Kennedy shared this side of autism, he was rebuked. Even by organizations that claim to work on behalf of autistic people.  Not here.  Kim
