John Yeboah Zamora, born in Germany to a Ghanaian father and Ecudorian mother has been himself to Ghanaians tonight. I took a few photos of him the other day in the Ecuador pre world cup friendly against Guatemala.
I promised to show this to my daughter. I was not around, so I sent it to her mum, who explained the various degrees to her. She partly understood because of her dad’s background, and she went through all of them with real interest. I joined them on video call.
She was deeply impressed and challenged, especially by the lady with a PhD in Mathematics. Her class had a tough time with Mathematics last term, and we are currently rebuilding her confidence in that area.
After saying “wow” and making other positive comments, she added that they were all very beautiful. Her mum said, “Yes, they are,” and I added, “Beauty with brains.” That was my only comment throughout.
Thank you for inspiring young girls and women around the world.
🚨🗣️ Felix Nmecha on why he prayed with the Curacao National Team after the game:
"In the match we are rivals, but after the game we are all Christians and we are all brothers."
"We shared a short prayer because we believe that Jesus is glorified through the game."
Brilliant performance from Frenkie, by the way, both on and off the ball.
If you think about it, Frenkie did pretty much everything Bouaddi got praised for yesterday, and probably even more. Of course, the standards are different given Bouaddi's age, so the hype is understandable.
But I do think we take Frenkie for granted sometimes because he's been doing these things for years. When a young player does it, everyone notices immediately. When Frenkie does it, it's just expected of him.
I hate the media that managed to convince people that he's somehow overrated or not elite. Sometimes it feels like people have forgotten just how special a midfielder he is because they've become so used to watching him do difficult things look effortless.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your love and faithfulness.
Please guide me in my marriage and fill our hearts with love, patience, and understanding.
Help us to trust You in every season, forgive one another quickly, and grow stronger together each day.
Bless our home with peace, joy, and unity.
May our marriage honor You and be a light to others.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
