Ever since I started watching Thai BL series, Thailand has always been the first country on my travel bucket list. I’ve always felt happy knowing that Thailand is our neighboring country, and I’ve dreamed of visiting the place that has brought me so much happiness through the people and stories I love.

Sometimes, I feel sad thinking that if my country weren’t going through such difficult political circumstances, maybe our favorite artists could come to Myanmar for fan meetings, and we could meet them right here in our own country. But instead of giving up on that dream, I’ve been working hard and doing my best to save money so that one day, I can travel to Thailand and meet the people I admire.

That’s why it hurts so much to see our cultural heritage being used as inspiration in a series while the calls for recognition and proper cultural credit seem to go unheard. As a Myanmar fan, this is not just about a series. It’s about our culture, our identity, our heritage, and the respect it deserves.

We are not asking for anything unreasonable. We simply want our cultural heritage to be acknowledged and given the recognition it deserves. Our culture is part of who we are, and seeing it represented on screen should be something we can feel proud of, not something that leaves us feeling unheard.

Cultural appreciation should always come with cultural recognition. Our heritage deserves respect, acknowledgment, and proper credit. 🇲🇲❤️

ทุกคนต่างพยายามสร้างอนาคตที่ดีขึ้นเพื่อครอบครัวและประเทศของตัวเอง คนเมียนมาร์ที่ทำงานอยู่ในประเทศไทยก็มีส่วนช่วยขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจของไทยเช่นกัน ดังนั้น การทำความเข้าใจและเคารพซึ่งกันและกันจึงสำคัญกว่าการเกลียดชังหรือเลือกปฏิบัติต่อกัน

ถ้าวัฒนธรรมไทยที่พวกคุณภาคภูมิใจถูกนำไปใช้ในซีรีส์ของประเทศอื่นโดยไม่มีการให้เครดิตที่เหมาะสม และเมื่อพวกคุณเรียกร้องอย่างสุภาพให้มีการชี้แจงกลับถูกเพิกเฉย พวกคุณจะรู้สึกอย่างไร? พวกคุณจะยอมรับได้จริง ๆ หรือ หากวัฒนธรรมของตัวเองถูกเข้าใจผิดว่าเป็นวัฒนธรรมของประเทศอื่น?

สิ่งที่พวกเราพูดถึงเกี่ยวกับ GMMTV ไม่ใช่เพราะพวกเราเกลียดประเทศไทยหรือคนไทย และไม่ใช่เพราะต้องการสร้างความขัดแย้ง พวกเราเพียงเรียกร้องให้เคารพวัฒนธรรมเมียนมาร์และให้เครดิตที่เหมาะสมแก่ต้นกำเนิดของวัฒนธรรมนั้น

เป็นเรื่องน่าเสียใจที่เสียงเรียกร้องของแฟน ๆ ชาวเมียนมาร์ซึ่งกำลังขอความเคารพต่อวัฒนธรรมของตัวเองอย่างสุภาพ กลับถูกเพิกเฉยราวกับไม่มีอะไรเกิดขึ้น หากนำวัฒนธรรมของประเทศอื่นมาใช้ ก็ควรให้การยอมรับถึงต้นกำเนิดของวัฒนธรรมนั้นด้วย

วัฒนธรรมของทุกประเทศล้วนมีคุณค่า และสมควรได้รับความเคารพอย่างเท่าเทียมกัน พวกเราหวังว่าทุกคนจะลองเปิดใจ ทำความเข้าใจความรู้สึกและข้อเรียกร้องของพวกเรา โดยลองมองจากมุมของพวกเราบ้าง

ခဏလောက် ကိုယ့်နေရာမှာ အစားထိုးပြီး စဉ်းစားကြည့်ပေးကြပါဦး။

လူတိုင်းက ကိုယ့်မိသားစုနဲ့ ကိုယ့်နိုင်ငံအတွက် ပိုကောင်းတဲ့အနာဂတ်ကို ကြိုးစားတည်ဆောက်နေကြတာပါ။ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံမှာ အလုပ်လုပ်နေကြတဲ့ မြန်မာတွေလည်း ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံရဲ့ စီးပွားရေးတိုးတက်မှုအတွက် တစ်ဖက်တစ်လမ်းက ပါဝင်ပေးနေကြပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် အချင်းချင်း မုန်းတီးတာ၊ ခွဲခြားဆက်ဆံတာတွေထက် အပြန်အလှန် နားလည်လေးစားပေးဖို့ ပိုအရေးကြီးပါတယ်။

နင်တို့တန်ဖိုးထားတဲ့ ထိုင်းရိုးရာယဉ်ကျေးမှုကို တခြားနိုင်ငံရဲ့ ဇာတ်လမ်းတွဲတစ်ခုမှာ အသုံးပြုထားပြီး Credit လည်း မပေးဘူး၊ နင်တို့က လေးလေးစားစားနဲ့ ရှင်းပြပေးဖို့ တောင်းဆိုတဲ့အခါမှာလည်း လျစ်လျူရှုခံရတယ်ဆိုရင် ဘယ်လိုခံစားရမလဲ။ ကိုယ့်နိုင်ငံရဲ့ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုကို တခြားနိုင်ငံရဲ့ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအဖြစ် အထင်မှားခံရတာကို သဘောကျနိုင်ကြမလား။
