IATA says Nigeria and Afghanistan are the two worst locations to open an Airline in the world. Afghanistan because it's a war zone and Nigeria for its 54 different taxes and hostile operating environment. Yet we complain about ticket prices and blame airlines.
On Oriire victims, for how long? Every single day is too long.
The government should secure their release with negotiations on the financial cost and plan for the aftermath.
The Old Oyo National Park axis needs a holistic plan. #rescueoriire.
This one shook me to my core 💔
Nigeria has many ways of failing its people… and this is one of the cruelest.
Meet Gospel Uabari Kinanee. In 2007, he was just 14 years old. He left home to play football with friends and never came back.
For months, his family turned Rivers State upside down. Hospitals, police stations, morgues — they checked everywhere. No Gospel.
The search broke them. His parents sold their land, their property, everything they had to find their son. The pain and stress was too much. Eventually, both of them died from heartbreak 💔
The world assumed Gospel was dead too. Years passed. 18 long years.
Then in 2025, out of nowhere, his older brother got a call: “We found your brother. He’s in a correctional facility in Rivers State.”
For 18 years, Gospel had been locked up. A 14-year-old boy who went out to play.
When they asked for his case file, there was nothing. No charges. No court record. No reason for his arrest. Just a child… forgotten behind bars.
The worst part? Gospel lost himself in there. His mind couldn’t carry the weight. He doesn’t recognize his brother. He can’t explain how he ended up in prison. The boy who left home to play ball is now a man who can’t remember his own story 😢
How does a child disappear into the system for 18 years without a case?
How many more “Gospels” are wasting away in prison right now for nothing?
This is not just his story. This is a wake-up call for all of us.
Nigeria, how do we fix this? How many innocent lives are we still losing to silence and broken systems? Talk to me

To stop ants coming in to your house leave a saucer of milk outside. The adult ants drink it & it has an effect on ant reproduction. The young are born without toes so they can't climb in to your
cavity walls.
This effect is called lack toes in toddler ants.

While going home on the 13th of this month, at about 10:15pm, I drove past Dantata Bridge and noticed a young lady standing there with some luggage.
Instantly, I remembered how I was robbed at that same spot in 2022. Because of that, I reversed to find out why she was standing there, and also to warn her about how dangerous that place can be at night.
When I got to her, I realised she was a lady I met in church last December during our parish Christmas carol. I asked why she was standing there at such an hour. She said she was just returning from the East.
Apparently, their bus broke down on the road, which was why they entered Abuja late. She was standing there trying to book an Uber home.
I asked which direction she was heading. Luckily for her, it was my axis, and her estate is not very far from mine. So I dropped her off at her estate gate and continued to my house.
What surprised me was that she never called or sent a message to check if I got home safely. Two weeks passed, and I concluded that she wasn’t a nice person.
Just yesterday, I went out to get lunch and I saw her. This time, I pretended I didn’t see her. She walked up to my table, greeted me, and said, “I know you’re very angry that I didn’t call you that night to check if you got home safely. I misplaced my phone that night and I don’t even know where it is.”
At that point, I was convinced she was lying because I had seen her booking an Uber that same night. So I didn’t give her a friendly look.
She noticed, but didn’t push further with the apology.
She simply gave a soft smile and said her break was over and she needed to get back to work.
Now here’s the part that just humbled me.
While on break today, I took my car to the car wash. While cleaning under the seat, the guy handed me a phone he found there.
Guess whose phone it was?
Ada, I hope this post somehow gets to you. I’m sorry for not believing you, even when you had no reason to lie. I would have brought the phone to your house, but I don’t know where exactly you stay.
If you see this, please meet me by the grotto side after 8am Mass on Sunday.
Kindly help me repost 🙏, so Ada can see this.
Before I left Nigeria for the UK, my monthly tax was over 250k…
Despite that, I pay for healthcare;
My shock absorbers gets damaged every 6 months or so & I replace with my money;
I pay for my children’s school fees;
I pay for my water;
I pay to contribute whenever the transformer gets spoilt;
I still queue for fuel…
If I am still in Nigeria, with this new tax system, I will be paying almost 500k tax & still nothing to show for it.
Where I am now, I’m excited to pay 25% tax but kids go to school for free & are fed daily for free, I don’t drive trying to avoid potholes anyhow, free healthcare, amongst many others.
Guess what? The government pays my kids $600 each monthly for just being children.
Something is wrong with your brain if you are advocating for this new tax system while there is no improvement in quality of life after even removal of fuel subsidy.

"For the last 9-months, my wife, Brooklyn has been pregnant with a very sick baby boy. Three or four months ago, we learned that the baby had severe hydrocephalus. Back in the old days, hydrocephalus was called, 'water on the brain' - too much brain fluid. Ultimately, we were referred to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where we were told by several of the most highly regarded fetal specialists in the country that his condition was dire. The baby's condition was 'off the charts bad'. It was so extreme that the specialists stopped measuring and monitoring his fluid level because, at that point, it didn't really matter. The MRIs were sickening to look at.
We were told, point blank, that there was over a 90% chance that the baby would either die shortly after birth or have such severe cognitive impairments that any quality of life would be hard to imagine. We had a meeting with palliative care regarding the use of life-sustaining measures and had detailed, awful, and emotional discussions about the ethics of when we might need to remove or cease such measures - which would result in the baby 'passing away peacefully.
Brooklyn relocated to Cincinnati and lived in a hotel close to the hospital - in case she went into labor. I commuted back and forth. On July 8th, Brooklyn did indeed go into labor. Literally, 15 minutes before they wheeled her back to start the C-section, we had another meeting with doctors regarding the use of a breathing tube and at what point we might need to remove that tube and let the baby go to Heaven. Guess what? The baby came out crying - which was the sweetest sound I ever heard.
In a nutshell, Charlie Schnarr stayed in infant intensive care until yesterday - when we all came home. He seems to be a normal, beautiful baby doing all the things that babies do. He has mild ventricular enlargement, but we can deal with that with checkups.
How did this happen?!
The doctors said, 'We do not have and cannot come up with a medical explanation for what we've witnessed here. Somehow his brain found a way to naturally clear the blockage or re-route the fluid that was causing the oppressive backup of brain fluid. During the last week, I heard the words, 'divine intervention' and 'miracle' more times than I could count. Nurses with decades of experience and esteemed, nationally admired doctors were flabbergasted but jubilant. Because of the domino effect of friends, family, clients, colleagues, and even strangers praying and asking others to pray for us, I do not doubt that there were thousands of people praying for us.
I'm a practical person that certainly believes in science and medical technology, but I absolutely know, from the bottom of my heart, that God was involved in this. I give ALL of the credit and glory to Him. Prayer is positively powerful. God is real, and He still performs miracles."

I am not afraid to proclaim the truths of the Bible:
• Abortion is murder.
• Homosexuality is sin.
• We’re either male or female, and this can’t be changed.
• Christianity is true; all other religions are false.
• Hell is real.
• Jesus is the only way to Heaven.
