@joshgworks@AlertState@KMYSJW@adcock_brett No: Progress, as in progress regarding sorting boxes. The point of experiments is to have a standardized setting that can be recreated and where performances can be compared to previous versions. They are showing off progress of their technology in the same setting.
@joshgworks@AlertState@KMYSJW@adcock_brett Yes, a specialized machine is better at performing a specific task. This technology is about machines adapting to environments and situations. The current experiment is used to measure the performance of this technology. In other words, it's showing off progress.
@AlertState@KMYSJW@adcock_brett I believe they are using a humanoid form, as it proves a lot of complex concepts. Bipedal standing is more complex than standing on four legs or being attached to something. It also allows to show off precise finger movements and hand/eye coordination.
@boredoutmuhmind@JSwitch56@Xbox A 7/10 is okay for Stellar Blade in itself, but the problem is the scores of other games need to be comparable. In other words, mixtape would need to get a significantly lower score than stellar blade, but the opposite is happening.
Last week I got a skill check from our flying Ace Boss so this week I decided to take some of his parts to make a custom heavy armed fighter and bully a Sniper and some other ground units hehe.

@GershyLakier@xai@AnthropicAI Well, with more activity of humans in space, we are going to see more things in space. It's kind of like seeing more and more ships in an ocean during the age of sail. We can always make space objects look more appealing, but most are so far away, you won't be able to see them.
Announcement🚨
I have discovered the cure of cancer.
No one will die of cancer anymore!
Well, it's just a drawing of it... but fiction affects reality. So I deserve a Nobel prize and a billion dollars.
>"But this is just a drawing???"
A drawing of what!?? 🙄
@enolebotti@RealTruthKnight@LumLotus But everyone must press the button, which is a conflict in how the experiment works. Again that's why an experiment without the logical flaws would be better.
@SashSoulsmith@Manstack@LumLotus I do have a hard time imagining a 2 day old baby pressing a button. Let alone a baby that is still inside the womb of its mother.
@AI_EmeraldApple@DocStrangelove2 The guys from forgotten weapons would have a field day with this one for sure! They once did a test with an M16 and an AK and reliably showed an M16 to be superior to protection from sand or mud due to low tolerances. AK still easier to maintain.

@nel57587@OUnderfolder@Manstack@LumLotus I agree, but once a person argues based on a baby participating, I have to include the framework of a baby pressing a button. Otherwise I would be unable to make an argument. Therefore I would suggest clarifying the "everyone" aspect to only include reasonable subjects.
@nel57587@OUnderfolder@Manstack@LumLotus And this conflicts with people who are incapable of pressing the button for mental or physical reasons. (Babies, comatose patients). Thus, everyone can not vote => The experiment is illogical. I do agree with you, if it were not for the paradox it creates.
@TheRealNewsGeek@TheCartoonLoon This is the issue. It is the reason why this experiment falls apart and why many people try to reason that only mentally and physically capable people should be included in the experiment. But then you don't have the "emotional" depth, because adults are responsible for themselve
@jjjreisss@francip@RosieCampbell@Aella_Girl I think you are right. It states "everyone... has to take a private vote...". The vote must be taken privately, but the vote could still be discussed beforehand?
@OUnderfolder@Manstack@LumLotus The rules demand you press a button, but not how quick you have to do it. Theoretically, you could just wait for as long as you want. The button press needs a time limit. Personally, I interpret it as the vote needs to be done immediately, but you can interpret it differently.
