National Unity Platform (NUP) Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya has called for peaceful conduct ahead of the Kalangala District Woman MP by-election. Warning against the violence witnessed in recent polls like Kawempe North, Rubongoya urged residents to vote for NUP’s Irene Nampala to fulfill the legacy of the late Helen Nakimuli.

The by-election aims to fill the vacancy left by Nakimuli, who tragically passed away in April following surgery, weeks before swearing in for her second term.
