@femlovesfooty@dlLambo@thejournal_ie Israel is doing horrible things I totally agree - it is just stupid to pretend that Ireland somehow can impact that conflict.
@GMbunchanumbers it is hard to understand grownups that will continue to play this stupid game of pretending that "trans" people can get pregnant but they are still not in the category of girls or women...
I am truly perplexed that so many people are against mosques being built...
I think it should be the goal of every Western Society to be tolerant regardless of their religious beliefs. Thus mosques should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance.
That is why I also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque, thereby promoting tolerance from within the mosque. We could call one of the clubs, which would be gay, "The Turban Cowboy ", and the other a topless bar called "You Mecca Me Hot."
Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent to that an open-pit barbecue pork restaurant, called "Iraq o' Ribs."
Across the street there could be a lingerie store called "Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret ", with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the goods.
Next door to the lingerie shop there would be room for an adult sex toy shop, "Koranal Knowledge ", its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side an off-licence called "Morehammered."
All of this would encourage Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us, so their mosque issue would not be a problem for others.
So disconnected from her brief and the public.
Even though that could be said about FF in general, Norma Foley is the walking personification of thinking herself above even the basic public scrutiny.

The reason this meme resonates with me is that it captures a common tactic in public democrat debate. Someone points to a broad trend and instead of discussing whether the trend is real, the conversation immediately shifts to an exception.
Mention fatherlessness and someone brings up a successful person raised without a father. Mention failing schools and someone points to a student who excelled. Mention crime and someone finds a neighborhood that remains safe. The exception is treated as though it disproves the pattern.
The problem is that exceptions do not erase trends. Nobody is claiming every circle is red.
They will call me a outlier... An exception.... an anomaly.
The point is that when most of the circles are red, focusing exclusively on the blue one prevents an honest discussion about what the overall picture actually shows. Serious analysis begins with patterns, not exceptions.
That is why so many conversations about public democrat policy go nowhere. Instead of asking why a problem exists, people spend all their energy trying to prove the problem doesn’t exist because they found a single exception.
Reality doesn’t work that way. If most of the circles are red, then the responsible thing to do is explain why.

No, I’m a man because I have a phenotype organized around sperm, determined by genetics.
I’ve also fathered two children, so that’s an obvious indicator.
Reality does not care about how I see myself. If I identified as a woman, I’d still be a man.
Surely I'm not the only person who thinks this should qualify Norma Foley for forced resignation. Exactly what Would get someone sacked in Irish politics? We can't trust any of them anymore, and we need political mechanisms that facilitate us intervening in issues like this well before the next election. She shouldn't take hundreds of thousands more in Irish taxpayer money after this.
Remember when the Taoiseach said:
"I don't believe we should get into culture wars like they have in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. I think we should be mature and deal with [the issues]." ?
Seems like his guys want to declare a permanent victory, over our children no less, and expect us to all bow down and take it.
Just the last few days and we have the ‘how to’ book for underage children on preparation for anal penetration and ‘pregnant person’ in the national exam paper.
These people aren’t fit for anything, far less public office. They are waging unrestricted ideological cultural warfare on Ireland; they are the definition of shameless.
This all needs to stop. Anyone in NGOs, state organisations or publicly funded bodies who is playing “let’s pretend” with taxpayers’ money should be shown the door and defunded .
We need the Supreme Court in Ireland (similar to the UK) to confirm a simple biological reality, there are two sexes, male and female, and they are NOT interchangeable.
People are free to identify however they wish. If someone wants to identify as a lightbulb, that’s their business. But the rest of society should not be compelled to participate or play along or endorse beliefs that contradict biological reality and logic.
When God wanted to punish the ancients for their political hubris, what did He do?
He made their languages diverse.
This is the Tower of Babel story.
Diversity created weakness and confusion, not strength.
