@EoinLenihan Devils advocate here but why or what was the reason behind this attack? While I don’t condone it and totally agree that the man in question should be jailed but I’d like to ask why he did this? Also the Defence Force cannot discharge a member until they are found guilty.

@Knightsatire @CallsignXD65 In fairness, many devastating funerals in my family in the past 5 years, but always a “sneer” somewhere in the sadness, and it always comes at the most inappropriate times ( the deceased would have been delighted )we’re a strange bunch, but an Irish Wake is the only way to go.

@SJTHolland True, however can you imagine being Irish in the last 60 decades demanding their rights and privileges in the UK or anywhere? And if we didn’t work you weren’t giving shelter food or rights. Also most immigrants to Ireland are from colonial countries, Ireland never colonised.

@SJTHolland I’m entitled to a British passport, my parents were born in the “empire “ that included Ireland, most immigrants here are from such countries and have a greater right to a British passport, but they see Ireland as the easiest choice. I’ve friends who are in direct provision, BTW

@paddytoland @TheMuldoonFella Because they murdered the people who fought for independence Dev & the church ruined our chances, kept us in the dark ages because they were afraid of women and the poor, and the money grabbing regime ran rampant. We could and should be a self sufficient country. Every asset sold
