David Ornstein says Marc Cucurella’s move to Real Madrid came together very quickly, within 24 to 48 hours after Real Madrid made calls to his camp.

Ornstein also said things had not been great since Cucurella spoke out after Enzo Maresca’s departure, so the move suits all parties.

Cucurella was keen to explore a move away from Chelsea, and Chelsea were open to it as long as the numbers were right. The deal is worth around €60 million, made up of €55 million plus €5 million in add-ons. #NG67
