Statement from Afghanistan -American Constituents in California's 14th Congressional District

We, members of the Afghanistan -American diaspora residing in California’s 14th Congressional District and beyond, unequivocally condemn the recent statements made by congresswoman Aishawahab regarding the normalization of the Taliban regime and the endorsement of U.S. diplomatic engagement with them.

It is deeply disturbing to see an elected representative offer platform and legitimacy to an internationally recognized terrorist organization that holds an entire nation hostage.

The congresswoman has never lived under the brutally oppressive Taliban regime, nor has she experienced the horrific human rights abuses, systemic oppression, and horrific realities inflicted upon the people of Afghanistan, particularly women, girls, and minority communities.

For the Afghanistani diaspora in California, the Taliban regime is a non-negotiable red line. We will not tolerate elected officials using their political platform to whitewash, justify, or legitimize Taliban atrocities. We stand firmly with the millions of Afghanistan people suffering under Taliban tyranny, and we call on all community members to demand accountability…

فقط چند روز قبل، برنده شدن عایشه جان را تبریک گفتم و از ته دل خوشحال شدم که یک دختر از سرزمین ما برنده شد ولی امروز با شنیدن نظریات عایشه جان، امیدوارم که او در نظریات خود در قبال افغانستان تجدید نظر کند.

عایشه میگوید که طالبان را باید به سمت راه راست هدایت کرد و امریکا باید با انها رابطه دیپلوماتیک داشته باشد.

عایشه جان، طالبان در طول پنج سال در افغانستان چی کردند! ایا یک ترورست کاری به جز تروریزم میشناسد و میتواند! هم اکنون افغانستان لانه بیش از بیست گروه ترورستی شده و دیر یا زود، اگر طالبان در قدرت باقی بمانند، سلسله بمباران های خارجی برای مبارزه علیه این گروه های ترورستی در افغانستان اغاز خواهد شد و باز مردم کشته خواهند شد.

خلیل زاد و حامیان اش مثل کرزی این مفکوره را به خورد امریکا دادند که طالبان تغیر کردند ولی در پنج سال گذشته، دیدیم که طالبان نه تغیر کردند و نه به معیار های حقوق بشر، پابند شدند و ارزشی به ان میدهند.

حال، وقت ان است که یک زن در سکوی قدرت، این مفکوره را به جهان اشاعه کند که طالبان نه بنفع افغانستان هستند و نه بنفع امریکا!

طوریکه خودت گفتی، جنگ سالار ها افغانستان را تباه کردند ولی این را نیز باید بدانی که طالبان هیچ تفاوتی با جنگ سالاران ندارند، انها معادل جنگ سالاران مصروف دزدی معادن هستند، زنان نکاح شده و دختران را به عقد و نکاح خود در می اورند، مردم را به جبر گلوله گروگان گرفته اند و افغانستان را به سمت پرتگاهی بزرگ و جنگ گسترده دیگر، سوق میدهند!..بنا تعامل با طالبان متفاوت تر از تعامل با جنگ سالار نیست!

عایشه جان، منحیث یک امریکایی، حداقل به فکر امنیت امریکا باش چون اگر طالب در افغانستان ریشه گرفت، یک واقعه یازدهم سپتمبر دیگر باز جهان را خواهد لرزاند و مسول ان، کسانی خواهند بود که طالب را راه حل سیاسی برای ثبات در افغانستان میدانند!

رابعه نسیمی، زن افغانستانی-بریتانیایی و نامزد حزب کارگر بریتانیا، در انتخابات شوراهای شهر در غرب لندن موفق به پیروزی شد.

خانم نسیمی از حوزه انتخاباتی «ایست اکتون» نامزد شده بود و با کسب ۱۲۰۷ رأی توانست کرسی شورای شهر را به دست آورد.

او در سال ۱۹۹۹ و در دوران نخست حاکمیت طالبان در افغانستان، همراه با خانواده‌اش به بریتانیا مهاجرت کرده و در لندن ساکن شده است.

رابعه نسیمی به عنوان فعال حقوق بشر و مهاجرت شناخته می‌شود و دارای مدرک دکترا از دانشگاه کمبریج است.

انتخابات شوراهای شهر در سراسر بریتانیا روز پنج‌شنبه برگزار شد؛ در این انتخابات حزب کارگر در لندن اکثریت کرسی‌ها را به دست آورد، اما در برخی مناطق دیگر با شکست مواجه شد.

پدر زنی به نام «لیزا» که به‌تازگی در کابل جان باخته است، می‌گوید دخترش قربانی خشونت‌های دوام‌دار خانوادگی شده و شوهرش در مرگ او نقش داشته است.

شمس‌الدین شمس، پدر لیزا، در گفت‌وگو با اکسوس مدعی شده است که دخترش در طول سال‌های زندگی مشترک، بارها مورد لت‌وکوب و آزار قرار گرفته و در نهایت پس از یک مورد شدید خشونت، جان باخته است. او همچنین می‌گوید پس از مطرح‌کردن این ادعاها، از سوی شوهر دخترش و بستگان او تهدید شده است.
