The global West built an empire on the assumption that Africa would remain permanently "helplessly disorganized." And never anticipated a crafty, disciplined, tech-literate indigenous resistance that would turn their own underdevelopment against them.

Here's the irony in the Western extraction model:

By treating the Democratic Republic of the Congo as nothing more than a borderless, corporate warehouse for cheap resources, the global empire has accidentally engineered its own strategic defeat.

The West deliberately refused to build modern roads, logistics hubs, or state infrastructure in the eastern Congo (and elsewhere on that vast land) because their sole objective was raw plunder.

They wanted a PERMANENTLY weak administrative shell that could not resist foreign corporations.

Today, that exact greed has turned into an imperial trap. Because they kept the land fractured and underdeveloped, the West now finds itself with zero operational infrastructure to launch an effective military response against the disciplined resistance of AFC_M23.

The fall of Goma and Bukavu effectively decapitated their entire regional assault plan, leaving their proxy armies completely stranded.

Their genocidal coalition is now left with almost no pathways to march and no launchpad terrain.

When you look at the scale of what they had assembled there and what they were up against, it is clear that what they were trying to do was wage war against Rwanda, destabilize our country, and reshape it the way they wanted. In fact, they said so themselves. Ordinarily, if someone were to say these things without evidence, you might think they were simply trying to frighten people, to intimidate them.

To convince themselves that what they wanted was within reach and that they were going to achieve it, they even brought in mercenaries. You know that many of them passed through here. We gave free passage to our enemies, allowing them to leave a war they waged against us, a war that was never theirs to begin with. That alone tells you something. And it is also something for which our forces, together with others who stood with them, deserve recognition.

As for Rwanda, we will always be in a struggle for our very existence. Regardless of those who wish us harm, surrounding us from many sides, one thing remains true: we should and will always be a step ahead of them.
