to support the work of Head & Neck Cancer Australia. Why soup? For people who have been treated for Head & Neck Cancer, soup is often more than just a meal, it’s a lifeline. In the days, weeks & even months following treatment, eating & swallowing can be extremely challenging
A warm, nourishing bowl of soup offers comfort & sustenance. Every year, 5,500 Australians are newly diagnosed & more than 17,000 people live with the long-term impacts of their treatment. There are no standard screening tests for Head & Neck Cancer - awareness, education &

#BrainTrack
A free app that helps you monitor & understand changes in cognition over time, which you can use to start a conversation with your GP. The app will help you explore this common concern, providing brain health information through fun, travel-themed games that test
your cognition. The resulting conversation & monitoring may lead to an earlier diagnosis of dementia. It does not replace the need for formal cognitive assessment, it supports the process by offering an easy way to track changes over time & even picking up on cognitive concerns
the user may not be aware of themselves. For many, it will offer reassurance and offer tips around maintaining brain health. It is an initiative of Dementia Australia and is funded by the Australian Government. https://t.co/ZkcXbuDLUk

#WorldMicrobiomeDay
Today is dedicated to celebrating & raising awareness about the fascinating world of microbiomes. Microbiomes are communities of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, viruses & other tiny life forms, that live in & around us.
They play crucial roles in maintaining the health of humans, animals, plants & the environment. These microscopic organisms are involved in processes that are essential for life. For instance, they help us digest food, protect us from harmful pathogen & even influence our mood
& behaviour. In agriculture, microbiomes support plant growth & soil health, while in the environment, they contribute to nutrient cycling & pollution breakdown. The aim of today is to make the science of microbiomes accessible to everyone. Together, we can appreciate the
importance of microbiomes and support research and initiatives that promote their health and diversity. https://t.co/vdW9F3WnxR https://t.co/ZoX3KpSMhz
