Earth is short but heaven is long. The same goodness and mercy that pursues us, propels us toward our heavenly home. So, even now, we can set our minds on heaven and the things of heaven. When we do, the earth issues that feel so big get right-sized in light of eternity.
I don’t know what steps of obedience God is calling you to take. But let me encourage you to keep going. Keep trusting. Keep taking step after obedient step.
We don’t have to understand the why of God’s ways. But we do need to keep choosing to follow them.
Sister, even when shadows darken your world, God’s Word is eternal and His character is unchanging. His presence is with you every step of the way. He walks alongside you and helps you to say, “Whatever my lot … it is well with my soul.”
The struggle you're facing may seem big. But rest knowing this: you do not walk through it alone. The same God who spoke the world into creation, parted the seas, and conquered death is the same God who will carry you through whatever you are facing. You are in good hands!
Although our present suffering can be painful and threaten to steal our hope, when we continue to trust in the Lord, keeping our hearts and minds fixed on our eternal hope, we can be reassured that our faith will never be in vain.
Yes, seeing the good come from hard things takes time. But we have the absolute assurance that it will come.
We can trust His timing. We can trust His plans. We can trust His heart.
Your walk with God may take you on many twists and turns. If you're weary and wondering what God is doing with your life, trust that He didn't bring you this far to leave you. He is with you, and His plan is far greater than anything you can imagine.
Trust God with whatever you're facing today. He will give you exactly what you need—strength, guidance, comfort ... He knows what you need before you do. You are so loved, sisters.
Facing a lot of unknowns in life can be hard. But if we had all the blanks filled in, we would explain away God’s part in our story.
God doesn’t want to be explained away. He wants to be invited in.
No matter how impossible that miracle you are praying for seems, please trust that only God knows the full story. He is working. He is hearing and shifting and intervening and convicting and stirring and doing what only He can do.
God does some of His best work in the unseen.
