The UK is helping Ukraine build its own alternative to the Patriot system.
To make sure Ukraine will never again be left defenseless because of political decisions in America!

Carney: I believe that President Macron's style, which is direct, it's concrete and it's ambitious, is well suited to making progress with all G7 partners very much including President Trump.
Macron: You have taken responsibility for increasing Canada's defence spending. France has done the same thing in recent years. Our defence industries have several complementarities. And this leads to lasting industrial cooperation that is beneficial to both countries.
Macron: Canada and France share more than an old friendship, a culture, a long common history. We share a similar reading on the world, common actions, a desire to strengthen our strategic autonomy and a conviction that our democracies have an essential role to play in the international order.
Carney: Canada and France are two of the four countries on the planet that have a LLM. We need to quickly strengthen partnerships between our countries. We are determined to act thus in order to bolster our economic sovereignty in a world that is being dominated by hegemonic powers and hyperscalers.
BREAKING: Lunatic Trump threatens to strip D.C.’s democracy and “take back” the city if voters elect a Mamdani-style Democrat!
In a stunning display of authoritarian hubris, Donald Trump just threatened to revoke Washington D.C.’s home rule and “take back” the city if Democratic socialist candidate Janeese Lewis George wins Tuesday’s mayoral primary.
When asked how he would feel if Lewis George – who is running on progressive policies – becomes the Democratic nominee, Trump replied:
“Well, I wouldn’t like it. And maybe we’d take back Washington and run it on the federal basis. We won’t put up with it.”
Trump is making a direct threat to override the will of D.C. voters simply because Trump doesn’t like their choice. Lewis George fired back immediately, calling it what it is:
“Threatening Home Rule because you do not like how residents vote is an attack on democracy itself. The people of DC elect the mayor of DC.”
Her opponent Kenyan McDuffie and another candidate Rini Sampath also condemned Trump’s comments, with McDuffie declaring that “DC decides who will be the next mayor, not Donald Trump.”
Ever since his first term, the racist Trump has wanted to poach authority away from the black-majority nation’s capital and run the city like a tyrannical dictator.
He loves to talk about freedom, but the second a city (or state) leans too progressive, he uses every lever of power at his disposal to compromise the democratic process, for which he clearly has no respect.
Behavior like this makes it clear that under Trump, votes only matter if they engender the result he wants. If not, he’ll claim the election is rigged, or failing that, find a way to punish the victor.
Again, Trump is showing that he is at heart un-American, which it need not be said is completely unacceptable.
But the tide is turning, and the midterms will hobble his malevolent administration until the 2028 elections finally rid us of Trumpism from sea to shining sea.
Historian Antony Beevor: Nicholas II once said Russia had to remain 200 years behind Western Europe to protect Russian tradition and culture.
That “time lag” was treated as essential because loosening the chains was feared to mean chaos. 1/
One last post from Tulsi to help Russia.
Why would the Director of National Intelligence make a post about secret American activities? And she also does it in a dishonest way that is designed to help Russian disinformation.
We know where her loyalties lie
🇱🇻🇺🇦 Zelensky: Held a meeting with Latvian Defense Minister, who is visiting Ukraine on his first foreign visit in office.
We discussed the implementation of the Drone Deal, which was signed between our countries this week.
We also discussed the possibilities of financing joint projects within SAFE and interaction within the European Union, NATO and Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF).
Thank you Latvia and all the Latvian people for your support!
One of the most effective ways to hurt a European country's defense industry and kill thousands of high-tech manufacturing jobs is to elect a pro-Russian government.
Voters in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom need to realize that supporting pro-Russian far-right (or far-left) parties will cause frontline allies to boycott their military exports. Billions of euros worth of deals will be lost.
Nations on the Russian border require certainty from their security partners. They are not going to depend on military hardware produced by a nation led by Kremlin sympathizers. When trust evaporates, lucrative defense contracts will vanish along with it, leaving the domestic industry isolated and broken.
This dynamic is not hypothetical. The global market is already reacting to political instability, as seen when Denmark bypassed the American Patriot system in favor of European alternatives partly due to the risk of an unpredictable Trump administration. The exact same pattern will repeat inside Europe if major defense exporters choose a political path that alienates their neighbors.
The industry is already feeling the pinch from the sheer risk of far-right victories, which stalls negotiations and discourages joint defense projects. An actual electoral win will amplify this damage across the entire economy, impacting other critical sectors. Western European voters must think twice before casting a vote that could instantly wipe out billions of dollars in strategic trade
What hypocrisy from the so-called “guarantor of Ukraine’s security.”
The U.S. asked India to buy russian oil in 2022 to stabilize the market, India’s FM Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said.
Not principles — interests. Yet they still lecture others about “rules-based order.”
