I did not fully appreciate how easy it was to clean my house before kids, or even with just one kid. In 15 years I'll probably be saying something about not appreciating the mess enough now, so trying to remind myself to do that daily.
Alyvia asks me about 15 times a day if I'm her best friend π₯° I never catch it on video, and if she stops before I can get it I might cry π if I could bottle her up at this age and make it last forever, I would β€
This morning Alyvia told me she likes ketchup on her pancakes π³ we need to work on our condiment names because I think she would have been seriously disappointed if I had put ketchup on them instead of syrup
Pre-bedtime fight with Alek last night.
Me: "I love Livy sooo much!"
Alek: "I love her more than you do..."
Me: "No way! We call each other 'best friend'! I definitely love her more."
Fights about who loves our kid more is actually living the dream β€
I may not know all of the words to the top songs on the radio these days, buti can keep up when Maui breaks it down in "You're welcome" and my toddler thinks that's pretty great, so I'm still pretty cool to someone πββοΈ
The Super Bowl is so weird because typically people walk away from the TV to grab their snack when commercials come on, but today we'd rather miss some of the game than miss a commercial.
I know I should be grateful that my daughter loves to share with me so much; she is usually very sweet about it, but it is much less endearing when a soggy, sucked-on cheezit is being shoved in your face and she won't take it away when you try to politely decline eating it π·
Me: I feel like this was about how big I was with Liv before she was born. Definitely getting bigger faster this time.
Alek: yeah right. You were way bigger when you went into labor. You've got a long ways to go.
ππ well then...
I'm the worst when it comes to presents. I've come extremely close to giving Liv 4 of her Birthday/Christmas presents already because I think she'll enjoy them so much π
We have a motion sensored garbage can. Alyvia wants the lid open (unclear why) and it keeps closing after she forces it open. She is very upset, crying and screaming. Alek and I are laughing and letting it happen.
@CodyBoyle1 I enjoy the ocean as long as I can see what's below me. I've snorkeled near sharks and gotten into the water while they feed 20 feet below me, but ask me to scuba in dark waters and it's a big "nope!" from me.
