Monday made.. seen two little oyster catcher chicks in the hospital garden outside my clinic window! Iโve seen every set of babies theyโve had since I started almost 4 years ago and it also means summers coming๐
Sat in a lecture for evidence based psychological interventions with my notepad and pen, while 90% of the class sits on laptops/iPads. Feeling very old school ๐
The @dundeeuni Nursing and Healthcare Recruitment Fair is open for bookings. At present we have the following employers confirmed but with three more enquiries today keep checking! Book to attend here: https://t.co/bRoXjnRV5A
Everyone welcome! @UoDHealthSci@UoDCareers
Today I was given this drawing from a young person I see in clinic. Itโs me, as an avatar with my mask and nurse blues on. He drew it specially for me and brought it in so I could keep. Love it!! ๐
So unbelievably excited to have been offered a senior nurse post for psychological therapies in my current service today (subject to hr checks). Pinching myself that this is real!! ๐
Taking a moment to appreciate all the new learning I have coming up by starting my PG dip in CBT this week, despite being told in high school I was more suited to college than university. So also a moment to feel proud of me ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ
Today in clinic my selectively mute young person spoke to me for the first time๐ฅน. 7 months of building relationships, trust and chipping away at that anxiety has totally paid off๐๐ผ
@annamstephen Hi Anna! In all honesty Iโm not 100% sure, usually the nursing posts are advertised for mental health nurses but thatโs not to say otherwise. Maybe best to have a chat with your universityโs career advisors and tutors if this is something your interested in๐
