@NicholsGBBall running with just 6 today. No Madisen Wilson. Emerson Sullivan is on book duty. ‘Less than full strength’ is a bit of an understatement. They don’t pay out at the quarter pole, but Nichols couldn’t ask for anything more at the start.

Other factors can be brought up, but biggest thing: both teams are here physically. Nichols engaged… BK not so much. Needless to say that’ll have to change

The growth of @EvieWalcott_25… just the comfort to face up, rip & attack. The last one was a bonus 🤑 she is a difficult matchup for BK in general & has taken advantage, game high 14 including these in the 2nd for @NicholsGBBall ⬇️

BK showing at least the lightest signs of generating some life & positive sequences. It’s better than it was at the jump, but still a work in progress. One thing they have going for them is Julie Cruz picked up her 3rd foul late in the half. The last minute without her looked a little scary for Nichols, so we know what key #1 for them is in the next 16.

Rough half for Asia Wilson - 2 early fouls, then came back in & proceeded to crack her head. Thankfully appears minor. Came back in for the last minute or so
