Hey guys! Here’s another shameless plug for my weather account!

A quick update for now: we have two disturbances in the gulf that have a chance to develop, but we think they will mainly be rainmakers.

A rainy start for those closer to the coast. As for temperatures today, scattered showers and cloud cover will keep us closer to average high temps for the summer.

As for the gulf, we continue to watch for updates from @NHC_Atlantic about the two disturbances in the gulf.

On a related note, I highly recommend getting a dog that likes the rain as much as you do.

We’re keeping with the high temps and humidity that we’ve been seeing lately.

We’re expected to top 100 degree heat index before noon, and will stick with it until late this evening.

Be safe, stay hydrated, and take breaks.

The big story for the next few days is heat and humidity🥵

After today, our rain chances drop, but dew points stay high. This will make it feel hotter than it is... we’re talking triple digit heat indices!🔥

Be sure to be practicing heat safety the next few days.

It’s looking cooler than the last few days thanks to cloud cover ⛅️and some rain showers today.

Most of us will still hit 90, which is normal for July.

Some of us east of I-45 may get a break in the heat today! Keep your eyes open for some isolated storms🌧 especially if you’re celebrating outside today.

Other than that enjoy your day, and remember to take breaks from the heat and stay hydrated!
