I've spent the last couple of months getting used to my new camera and buying it has been one of the best things I've ever done! Getting out in nature makes such a difference. Watch this space for lots more! ๐ฆ๐ฟ #cornwall#photography#wildlife#birds#nature@Natures_Voice
I'm Indy's Dad and yet again your name comes up taking another pop at my son. You are not alone in this trend.
Indy is a young man with a love of nature & a desire to share that passion. He should be commended.Trolling a child is at best distasteful and at worst disturbing. ~Mark
@GreeneIndy Well said Mark! 15, 45 or 85..doesnt matter how old you are, it's the passion and love for nature that matters. Keep being amazing and inspiring Indy!
This bad boy is very aptly named the Giant tachinid fly. It is huuuge!
Females of this attractive yet slightly terrifying parasitic species lay their eggs on the larvae of certain moths, which eventuallyย emere as adults from the host pupa. Not the friendliest but that's nature!
The Yellow Rattle we sowed in South Petherwin Churchyard last year has taken! ๐
It will help to prepare the area for other wildflowers by reducing grass growth as well as being a cracking plant for some pollinators - so, all round a very good egg! ๐ฟ๐ฆ๐

Just doin' me a sunbathe!
Not an uncommon sight to see, especially in Robins! It's done as part of their preening routine, helping preen oil to spread across their feathers as well as driving out parasites!
Nature you so clever ๐ฅฐ #nature#NaturePhotography#wildlife
Because you see, like those hardworking birds, it takes a lot to be a 'Dad'.
I have three Dads, who just happen to go by different names and I have all the love I could ever need๐ฅฐ
So, a huge Happy Fathers Day to everyone out there that deserves it, no matter what name you go by!
*A Fathers Day thread*
I've watched so many parent birds in my garden this year. They work their little butt's off feeding, rearing and looking after their babies, continuing to help them when they're out of the nest...

Father's day cannot go by without a shoutout to my Mum.
She is everything. Two parents in one. She has never failed me, never stopped supporting me, never been anything but amazing.
Everything I am, I owe to her.
Baby Bully!
We are very lucky to have Bullfinches visit our garden almost all year round. This year we've been extra lucky with their baby(s) visiting too! This little one follows its dad everywhere. I am in love ๐

This is a well-managed verge packed with native wildflowers. It breaks my heart when the plants I love get replaced with seed mixes ๐ We must stand up for our native invertebrates AND our native wildflowers. The former need the latter, not a strange collection of annual plants
