@STVNews 2/ . I enquired about egg donation and was told I was too old as the cut off was 36 and I was turning 36 in a few months 😢. Im only 38 now and it still upsets me that couldn’t help other families as I know first hand what it’s like to be desperate for a family 😢

@STVNews 1/ I had a stillborn daughter and as a result could no longer carry a child so we went down the surrogacy route which was a long, emotional journey and didn’t work for us after 3 attempts and in the end we adopted the most amazing little girl but I wanted to give something back.

@hell_line0 My daughter was still born at 30 weeks and I took my full maternity time off much to the disapproval of my employers but that time was so important and very much needed. I needed time to recover mentally, emotionally and physically.
